Anseong Day Trip: Restaurants, Farmland, Museum and Quiet Walks

For a day trip to Anseong, pair one restaurant with one or two attractions. Choose a farm experience, museum or garden walk first, then connect it with a meal nearby.

Anseong’s sights are spread across several districts. Matching the route to your group’s interests and direction of travel is more practical than trying to visit every well-known place.

Three restaurants to consider

1. Anilok (안일옥): a beef-soup meal in town

The Korea Tourism Organization introduces Anilok as a long-established beef-soup restaurant. Seolleongtang, galbitang and beef-head soup offer different broth-and-rice options for a city meal. For families, check seasoning and meat choices before ordering for children.

  • Address: 20 Jungang-ro 411beon-gil, Anseong-si, Gyeonggi-do.
  • Listed hours: 08:00–21:00 in the tourism listing; ask separately about breaks and last orders.
  • Telephone: 031-675-2486.

Match the address to avoid similarly named restaurants elsewhere. Korea Tourism Organization’s Anilok guide.

2. Solli at Seoil Farm (서일농원 솔리): traditional soybean dishes and a farm walk

Solli is introduced for Korean dishes featuring cheonggukjang and doenjang. Combine a meal with the farm’s fermentation jars and landscaping if both the food and surroundings interest you.

Seoil Farm is in Iljuk-myeon. Treat it as an Iljuk-area meal and walk, rather than assuming it is in the same neighbourhood as Farmland in Gongdo-eup or central Anseong.

  • Address: Seoil Farm, 332-17 Geumil-ro, Iljuk-myeon, Anseong.
  • Menu focus: cheonggukjang and doenjang-based Korean food.
  • Suggested combination: lunch followed by a farm walk.
  • Farm telephone: 031-673-3171.

Farm viewing hours and restaurant hours are separate. Online restaurant hours differ, so confirm current service and last orders before planning dinner. Tourism listing for Solli · Anseong city’s Seoil Farm guide.

3. Mokwon (목원): a Korean meal alongside Farmland

Anseong Farmland’s official site introduces Mokwon as a Korean restaurant, with menus including Korean beef shabu-shabu and spicy pork ssambap sets. It provides another family meal style beyond beef soup or fermented-soybean dishes.

The official location description uses the main entrance approach from Car Park 1. Ask separately about restaurant access and admission to the experience farm.

  • Destination: Mokwon, Anseong Farmland, 28 Daesindu-gil, Gongdo-eup, Anseong.
  • Listed restaurant hours: 11:00–21:00.
  • Telephone: 031-8053-7921 or 7922.

See the official restaurant guide, and ask about children’s meals, reservations and any break time.

Three attractions for different interests

1. Anseong Farmland (안성팜랜드): animals and outdoor activities

This farm-style attraction offers animal viewing and activities such as feeding. Consider it for children who prefer participating to simply walking.

The original official information listed 10:00–18:00, with ticket sales ending at 17:00. Activity times and fees differ, and flower conditions depend on the weather. Check dated updates rather than assuming a photograph represents current scenery.

Address: 28 Daesindu-gil, Gongdo-eup. Official opening hours · Notices and ticket information.

2. Anseong Machum Museum (안성맞춤박물관): brassware and local history

The museum covers Anseong brassware, local history and agricultural culture. It is an indoor cultural option between outdoor stops or during poor weather.

The original official notice scheduled the special exhibition Baudeogi Has Arrived, the Stage Is Set from June 25, 2026 to April 30, 2027, exploring the Namsadang performance tradition. Recheck the exhibition notice for changes.

  • Address: 4726-15 Seodong-daero, Daedeok-myeon.
  • Listed viewing: Tuesday–Sunday 09:00–18:00; last admission 17:00.
  • Admission: listed as free.
  • Check: Monday closures and special holiday openings.

Official special-exhibition notice. The museum is a different location from the festival venue, Anseong Machum Land.

3. Mirinae Shrine (미리내성지): quiet viewing and a walk

This Catholic shrine is associated with Saint Andrew Kim Taegon. It offers a quieter historical setting than a farm activity or festival.

Respect worship and pilgrimage, keep voices low and follow photography restrictions. Plan a calm visit appropriate to a religious place.

Address: 420 Mirinaeseongji-ro, Yangseong-myeon. The city guide listed viewing hours of 09:00–17:00; check accessible areas and events in the official tourism guide.

Three ways to plan the day

Local culture: museum and a city meal

Pair the museum with Anilok, allowing separate travel between them. Set the order after checking museum admission and restaurant last orders. If the museum is closed, choose one confirmed-open farm alternative. The 2026 Baudeogi Festival ran October 2–5 and has ended; this route does not depend on festival activities or shuttles.

With children: Farmland and Mokwon

Plan morning farm activities, a meal at Mokwon, then selected additional activities. Ask about re-entry between the experience farm and restaurant when you arrive. Add another attraction only if travel time and your child’s energy allow.

Traditional food: lunch and a walk at Seoil Farm

Build the outing around Solli lunch and the fermentation jars and farm grounds. This can be sufficient for an Iljuk-area trip. Adding Mirinae or Farmland means travelling to another district.

Before setting out

  • Confirm restaurant service, breaks and current prices.
  • Check parking locations without assuming free parking or available spaces.
  • Check the museum’s opening day and Farmland’s ticket cutoff.
  • Build around any booked activity or exhibition entry time, then add travel.

Choose the combination that fits your companions: soup and museum, farm activities and a family meal, or traditional soybean food and a walk. One meal and one main place make a manageable day.
