BTS Seoul Tour: 8 Sourced Stops and Practical 1-Day & 2-Day Routes

A BTS Seoul tour works better when you choose a neighborhood cluster, rather than cross the city to collect eight photographs. This guide separates documented BTS connections from route suggestions. The tourism references below explain each location’s BTS connection; the suggested routes group nearby stops.

What the sources establish

Seoul City’s 2023 BTS location map announcement documents several filming, performance and early-career connections used below. Historical references do not mean that FESTA displays, stamp events, concerts or filming sets are still running. Yoojung and Daeo have separate tourism references. The routes and time allocations are this site’s planning suggestions.

1. Yoojung Sikdang: plan this as a meal

Visit Seoul’s historical BTS restaurant feature identifies Yoojung as an early-career dining stop. The older article establishes the connection, not today’s menu prices or opening hours. Confirm the current address and map listing before visiting. If you are alone, ask whether the dish you want has a minimum order; do not assume a shared barbecue set is a single-person meal.

2. Hakdong Park: a short neighborhood stop

Pair the park with the Nonhyeon restaurant area if you want a compact early-career route. Search each exact destination in a Korean mapping app, rather than treating “Gangnam” as one walkable point. Allocate a short walking break and leave extra time for the restaurant queue. Check the walking route from the restaurant’s current address.

3. Gyeongbokgung: visit a palace, not a recreated stage

The BTS link is a past performance at the palace. Start with the official palace visiting information and verify the day’s access conditions. A general ticket, special tour and seasonal evening opening are different products. If a particular hall or pavilion matters to you, confirm access before paying for clothing rental or extra transport.

4. Daeo Bookstore: combine with Seochon

The Visit Seoul bookstore listing mentions RM’s photographed visit. Combine this with the palace area rather than inserting a trip to Gangnam between them. Check the venue’s current operating conditions and ask before photographing interiors or staff. Follow the venue’s photography rules when choosing a photo spot.

5. National Museum of Korea: an indoor cultural anchor

Use the museum as the main indoor visit in a Yongsan day. Its historical BTS filming connection is distinct from the exhibits currently on display. Select one gallery or topic and check whether a special exhibition needs a separate ticket. A museum visit should have its own time allowance; it is not simply a photo stop between two offices.

6. HYBE: keep expectations clear

An exterior view from a lawful public route is different from admission to the building. This itinerary does not promise entry to an office, museum, shop or artists’ workplace. Do not wait at staff entrances or treat employees’ movements as a visitor activity. If a publicly bookable exhibition matters to you, verify its current operation independently before adding it to the day.

7. Nodeul Island: check what is open now

The city map links the island to the 2021 Season’s Greetings. Current construction, event setup or access notices can affect a visit. Check the destination’s current notice and map route; do not copy a filming-era view as proof that every space is open. If conditions are unclear, keep this stop optional and spend the time at the museum instead.

8. Yeouido Hangang Park: park visit versus FESTA

The 2023 anniversary gathering was a dated event. A present-day walk does not include that year’s installations, merchandise booth or fireworks. Plan for weather, water and a return route. If you want a cruise, treat it as a separately timed, paid booking and leave boarding time before departure.

One day: choose a focused route

  • Culture route: Gyeongbokgung → lunch in the same area → Daeo → optional evening park visit only if time and weather allow.
  • Early-career route: Hakdong Park → Yoojung meal → one activity in the same Gangnam area.
  • Yongsan route: museum → optional brief HYBE exterior stop → Nodeul only when current access is confirmed.

Do not combine all three routes into one short day. A plan with four districts can spend a large share of the day on transfers, station walking and queues. If a meal or admission is the priority, book around that fixed time and remove an optional stop when you fall behind.

Two days: keep the main visits apart

Day 1 can focus on Jongno: palace, lunch and Seochon. Day 2 can focus on the museum and a river visit, with HYBE exterior viewing optional. Choose Gangnam instead of Yongsan on Day 2 if Yoojung and Hakdong are your main priorities. These plans intentionally leave out some of the eight candidates; a useful itinerary need not visit every listed place.

Budget, transport and checking conditions

Build a total from transport + your chosen admissions + meals + any booked café or cruise activity. For an illustration, two meals at 15,000 won each and a drink at 6,000 won mean 36,000 won before transport and admission; these are assumed planning amounts, not venue prices. Compare minimum orders, dated tickets and cancellation conditions before booking.

Use Korea travel mapping and planning apps to check exact addresses and live routes. For a broader first trip, see the three-day Seoul itinerary. Historical BTS connections were checked against the linked tourism references on 4 October 2026. Confirm current opening hours and visitor access with each venue.
